Floral Build-A-Flower from Altenew

Good day, and thanks for visiting! Today I'm going to talk about how to use those #buildaflower from Altenew! Here, I used the blue version of the flower I stamped.

I hope that you enjoyed the card that I did in my previous blog that showcased the pink version of the Camellia Japonica Stamp and Dies set from Altenew!

In addition to the pre-done flower, I also chose the Berry Border from Paper Rose. I love using my Gemini Jr in cutting these items out, it makes things so easy! I also put my Gemini Jr. on a turntable, that way I put the plates in on one end, turn it around, and then grab them from the other side.

For the background, I used a couple of stamps that I purchased second-hand, (you have to start somewhere, right) the script stamp is stamped in Distress Oxide Faded Jeans, and the Flowers are stamped in Distress Oxide peacock feathers. Check out the video if you want to see how I used a smaller flower stamp to make the background look like a larger single stamp.
