Add Fluffy Dimension to your Cards

Easily add fluffy dimension to your cards with this idea!

Hello, and thanks for visiting! I recently bought this cute stamp from the Fuzzy Friends collection and I really wanted to add some fluffy dimension to the sheep. After a couple of tries with different products, I decided to try adding bits of a cotton ball. It worked! And if you are a tactile person like me it is soft as well!

I started with stamping Sadie the Sheep from Woodware in the Licorice ink from Pink Fresh. After stamping that I "painted Sadie with some Aleene's Tack-It Over and Over. Be sure to use a paintbrush that you don't care about in case you forget to wash it out. After the Tack it over and over is dry it will remain tacky. Then, I took a cotton ball and dab it on top of the Tack it. This left behind bits of the cotton ball. Afterward, you can "sheer your sheep" :) This makes it somewhat even without all of the long pieces of cotton hanging off.

I used the Pale pink from the Crafter's Companion - Spectrum Noir - TriBlend Marker Set - Essential Blends to color her tongue, ears, and nose. Cool gray was used for the legs and face. These markers I bought from Amazon by the name EooUooIP. In hindsight, I would have colored and then added the cotton because the cotton was getting on my markers. Easy to remove it though.

Then I added Scrapbook.com - Floral - Smooth Cardstock Paper Pad, in the green, to the back. Next, I glued it to the Accent Opaque 100lb cardstock card base that I previously made.

For some embellishment, I added Pops of color in the gloss Key Lime color from Scrapbook.com.

Using a stencil , being careful not to move it so the Pops of color doesn't get underneath too much, I squeezed it in and carefully lifted off the stencil leaving the shape behind!
